I got this recipe from a guy I fish with up north, I love them; they are absolutely great, and I cant get enough of them. We call them Scooby Snacks and usually have them around the campfire. Be sure your foil is good and sealed. When done, it will be puffed up like a pillow You can use any white, flaky fish in place of walleye fillets.
Awesome Grilled Walleye (Scooby Snacks) Ingredients
1 pound walleye fillets
2 12x12-inch squares aluminum foil
5 tablespoons butter, melted
1 pinch seasoned salt, or to taste
1 pinch garlic and herb seasoning blend (such as Mrs. Dash), or to taste
How to Make Awesome Grilled Walleye (Scooby Snacks)
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat.
Place walleye, skin-side down, in the center of one aluminum foil square. Brush fillet with butter; season with seasoned salt and garlic and herb seasoning blend. Place second aluminum foil square over the fish and fold edges of the two pieces of foil together to form a secure packet.
Cook on the preheated grill until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 7 minutes per side.

Awesome Grilled Walleye (Scooby Snacks) Reviews
I made this tonight 5-5-15, it was quick and easy to make on the grill, had it in the tin foil and on the grill for 15 minutes and it turned out great.
Pretty bland. Needs more than the recommended seasoning. Also cooked it tented for 10 minutes total, no flipping on a 400 degree grilled and it was cooked perfectly.
If youre doing this recipe just use cod dont waste a walleye. About made me and my wife sick from so much butter. Ruined 5 good fish fillets.
Very good, simple campfire food. I found the cook time was at least 5 minutes too long for my fillets and you have to be very careful as the foil package expands with the steam. Otherwise tasty and easy.
Awesome My whole family loves it, including 3 daughters 5,7,9.
Did not like this recipe one bit. this was very bland. none of my kids would eat this again. I should just stick to my Louisiana beer batter mix than ruin a perfectly good walleye fillet.
